Competition Always Benefits the Customer
Jacksonville already has two and now Richlands is getting one. You know what I’m talking about – Walmart. I have a love/hate relationship with Walmart. I love it because I can get allergy medicine and spray paint in one trip. I hate it because of bad parking and long lines.
Richlands will soon have their new Wally World and I can get my Claritin and Krylon in one trip without having to drive to Jacksonville. But actually, we are already benefiting. Have you been to Richlands Food Lion lately? You don’t think that remodel was a coincidence do you? Food Lion on Gum Branch was remodeled too – right before the new Lowe’s Foods opened. And the last time I was at Michael’s, a manager asked me if I found everything I was looking for. That has NEVER happened before. Of course it couldn’t have had anything to do with that new Hobby Lobby next door – hmmm.
The common denominator here? Competition. It drives prices down and makes everyone bring their “A” game.
It’s easy to compare apples to apples when you are shopping for a toaster or a box of Crayons. Not as easy when you are shopping for a service (such as pressure washing).
Make sure to look at more than just price. All service providers are not the same. Process, convenience, trustworthiness, and track record need to be considered as well.
Heritage Pressure Washing is an exterior cleaning company that provides pressure washing services to the Jacksonville NC area.
